More from Beth Moore - Jan 26, 2015

Beth Moore made some news a couple of weeks ago when a young woman, aged 22, referred to her as a false teacher. Beth Moore contacted her and exchanged some emails with her trying to understand why. Those emails were made public and were quite telling. The young woman's husband, Briar, contacted me and asked for some guidance in their interaction with Moore. In this program I will discuss a statement that Moore said which indicates she truly does not understand the logical conclusions and biblical gravity of her claims that God speaks to her outside of Scripture. Alex Malarkey and LifeWay's Cover-up - Jan 19, 2015

It is reported that on Wednesday of this week the biggest news story in the United States if not in the world was that of Alex Malarkey's open letter to LifeWay and other "Christian" retailers stating that the story told of him in the book "The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven" is not true. When Alex's letter was posted the book's publisher, Tyndale, and LifeWay put out statements saying that this was news to them as well and they proceeded to pull the book from their shelves. Justin reveals why he believes both Tyndale and LifeWay are not being honest because of email exchanges that Phil Johnson and Justin had with each of them respectively. Justin will discuss this situation, read to you the emails, and then discuss the ramifications. They are many. It is a sad day for Tyndale and especially LifeWay but praise the Lord for Alex Malarkey. Visit JustinPeters.org and WorldViewWeekend.com for more.

Rest for the Weary - Part 3 - Jan 12, 2014

We are doing a series on Matthew 11:25-30.  In last week's program we discussed the context of our passage, specifically verses 20-24 in which Jesus denounced the cities of Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum.  In today's program we will talk about Jesus' public effusion of praise to the Father for hiding the things of the Gospel.  From whom did He hide them and why did He hide them?  We usually think of God revealing truths, not hiding them.  So, what is going on here? Justin Peters on Worldview Weekend Radio - Jan 12, 2015

On January 9, 2015, Beth Moore posted an article on her blog in which she bemoaned those that were calling her a false teacher. Justin Peters and Susan Heck explain why the post by Moore seems to reveal that Moore is unrepentant and in fact clueless when it comes to understanding the danger of what she is teaching and the false teachers she is promoting and appearing with such as Joyce Meyer. Rest for the Weary, Part 2 - Jan 5, 2015

For the next few programs we will be looking at Matthew 11:25-30. For context, however, in today's program we will examine the preceding verses in which Jesus upbraided the cities of Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum. What was it about these cities that drew such a blistering condemnation from Christ? It is not that these cities actively opposed Christ, but that they were indifferent to him. As evangelicals we are certainly not actively opposing Christ, but many of us are indifferent to Him. I will give one example that, I believe, shows particular indifference to Christ's commands. It is something to look for when searching for a solid church with which to fellowship. Visit JustinPeters.org.
